In this piece, I wanted to experiment with a funkier style. I drew my subject in a semi-realistic style, then funked up the background with bold colours, stylish patterns, & juicy oranges.

I’ve always been intrigued with the concept of using bold, solid markers & soft pencil crayons as contrast, & I really wanted to explore that with this drawing.
