This work showcases Lagoona Blue from the Monster High 13 Wishes movie.

It is widely agreed upon in the community that this design for Lagoona is one of the worst designs of the franchise, however I disagree. Not only do I find her design incredibly cute, she also reminds me of the japanese fashion subculture, gyaru. The point of gyaru was that it was bold, rebellious, & it went against conventional beauty standards. I found that ironic considering the negative reputation that this Lagoona design has.
